What is Pfizer Direct?
Pfizer Direct is a home-delivery program administered by Medvantx, a licensed mail-order pharmacy, through which eligible patients can order certain brand-name Pfizer medications with a valid prescription. Pfizer is not a licensed pharmacy.
Pfizer Direct by Medvantx does not accept insurance. You can be confident you’re receiving high quality, brand-name Pfizer medications, allowing you to take the Pfizer medications you know.
Does this program accept my health insurance?
No; however, Medvantx accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) cards.
Do I need to sign up for this program to place an order?
Yes. Pfizer Direct by Medvantx uses the email address you provide when signing up as your unique identifier within this program. This allows you to create an account, and eligible customers may place orders through the Pfizer Direct program.
Please note: You need to have your own email account to register for the Pfizer Direct program.
What medications are available for order through the Pfizer Direct program?

Can I order non-Pfizer medications?
No. Pfizer Direct by Medvantx only offers Pfizer brand-name medications.

How is my Pfizer Direct by Medvantx order processed?
Pfizer Direct is a home-delivery program administered by Medvantx, a licensed mail-order pharmacy. When eligible customers place an order through the Pfizer Direct program using a valid prescription, Medvantx will verify your prescription information with the prescribing physician that you indicate at the time of ordering.
If your doctor did not send the prescription to Medvantx, Medvantx may contact your doctor on your behalf to request that your doctor e-prescribe your valid, existing prescription to Medvantx. Please note that this may delay the processing and shipment of your order.
Once Medvantx receives the valid prescription from your doctor and the prescription is verified, Medvantx may process your order and your medication may be shipped directly to you.
Can I choose to unsubscribe from emails?
Yes, you may opt out from any promotional emails that you sign up for. However, you will still receive important information about orders you place, such as status updates and shipping notifications, because your email is how Medvantx communicates information relating to your orders.
What does “Pfizer Direct is administered by Medvantx” mean?
Pfizer has collaborated with Medvantx, a licensed mail-order pharmacy, to bring you the Pfizer Direct program. Pfizer is not a licensed pharmacy.
For eligible patients, once Medvantx receives the valid prescription from your doctor and the prescription is verified, Medvantx may process your order and your medication may be shipped directly to you.
What are the Terms of Use of the program?
Terms of Use apply to your use of the Pfizer Direct website, administered by Medvantx, to order your medications. Please see the full list of Terms of Use, which may vary by product, here.
Do I need a prescription from my doctor to place an order?
Yes, after your doctor has determined that the brand-name Pfizer product is appropriate. If you have a valid, existing paper prescription or if your doctor did not send the prescription to Medvantx, Medvantx may contact your doctor on your behalf to request that your doctor e-prescribe or fax your valid, existing prescription to Medvantx. Please note that this may delay the processing and shipment of your order.
Once Medvantx receives the valid prescription from your doctor, and the prescription is verified, Medvantx may process your order and your medication may be shipped directly to you.
You may also place an order if your existing prescription is already with a different pharmacy. Medvantx will contact your prescribing physician and request they e-prescribe or fax your prescription to Medvantx. Once Medvantx receives the prescription from your doctor, your order will be processed and your medication will be shipped directly to you.

Can I place orders for different Pfizer medications through the Pfizer Direct program?
Yes. If the medications are available for order through Pfizer Direct by Medvantx and you are an eligible customer with a valid, existing prescription for each medication that you would like to order.
Can I place an order for more than 1 medication through Pfizer Direct by Medvantx?
You may purchase only 1 prescription per transaction. However, you may check out multiple times if you would like to order additional medications through Pfizer Direct.
Will my prescription be filled with a generic medication?
No. Only Pfizer brand-name medications are used to fill prescriptions ordered via the Pfizer Direct program.
My healthcare provider gave me a paper prescription. Can I still place my order?
Yes. If you have a valid, existing paper prescription, Medvantx may still be able to help you obtain your Pfizer brand-name medication. After creating an account with Pfizer Direct, enter your doctor’s information and provide your authorization for a member of the Medvantx Customer Care Team to contact your doctor.
If you have a valid, existing prescription, Medvantx will contact your doctor to attempt to verify your existing prescription and have the prescription transferred to Medvantx. For Eligibility criteria, please see the Terms of Use.
Can I take a picture of my current paper prescription and fax or email it to Medvantx?
Unfortunately, Medvantx cannot accept faxes or photos of prescriptions from customers.
If you have a valid, existing paper prescription, Medvantx may still be able to help you obtain your Pfizer brand-name medication. After creating an account with Pfizer Direct, enter your doctor’s information and provide your authorization for a member of the Medvantx Customer Care Team to contact your doctor.

I know that my doctor submitted my prescription electronically, but I am unable to locate it after logging in. What can I do?

I currently use a local pharmacy to fill my prescription—can I switch to Pfizer Direct by Medvantx?
Yes. After creating an account with Pfizer Direct administered by Medvantx, enter your doctor’s information and provide your authorization for a member of the Medvantx Customer Care Team to contact your doctor.
If your valid, existing prescription is already with a different pharmacy, Medvantx may contact your prescribing physician and request they e-prescribe your valid, existing prescription to Medvantx.
Once Medvantx receives the valid prescription from your doctor, and the prescription is verified, Medvantx may process your order and your medication may be shipped directly to you.

Where can I check the status of my prescription?
You can check the status of your order from your Pfizer Direct account, under the “Order Status” page.
For every order placed, a shipping confirmation email from Medvantx will also be sent to let you know that your order has shipped. The email will include a tracking number and link to the shipping carrier so you can track the progress of your order.
Do I need to create an account to place an order?
Yes. To place an order through Pfizer Direct by Medvantx, you must sign up and create an account with a unique email address and password.
I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it?
You can click here if you cannot remember your password.
You can also contact the Medvantx Customer Care line at 1-877-655-1400 and a member of the Customer Care Team will be able to assist you.
How do I update my account information?
Log in to your account and select “My Account Information” to make changes to your information, including your password, as well as your personal, medical, billing, and shipping information. You cannot change your email address online.

Is all of my personal data (prescription[s] or medical, shipping, or payment information) safe?
Pfizer Direct and Medvantx each use technical, administrative, and procedural measures in an attempt to safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access or use. No such measure is ever 100% effective though, so Pfizer Direct and Medvantx do not guarantee that your personal data will be secure from theft, loss, or unauthorized access or use, and Pfizer Direct and Medvantx make no representation as to the reasonableness, efficacy, or appropriateness of the measures Pfizer Direct and Medvantx use to safeguard such data. Users are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of their own passwords. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with Pfizer Direct or Medvantx is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with Pfizer Direct and Medvantx has been compromised), please immediately notify Medvantx by calling 1-877-655-1400.
I no longer wish to order my medications through Pfizer Direct by Medvantx. Can I delete my account?
You cannot delete your account online; however, you may call the Medvantx Customer Care line at 1-877-655-1400 if you would like to delete your account.
I was asked for my insurance information, but I thought Pfizer Direct by Medvantx does not accept insurance. Why was I asked for my insurance information?
Although Pfizer Direct by Medvantx does not accept insurance, based on the information you provided, the verification process was prompted in order to determine eligibility for the Pfizer Direct program. Patients are not eligible to use this program if they are enrolled in a state or federally funded insurance program, including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, Veteran Affairs health care, a state prescription drug assistance program, or the Government Health Insurance Plan available in Puerto Rico (formerly known as “La Reforma de Salud”).

I tried to place an order with the Pfizer Direct program using my existing account, but I received a notification that I canno longer place orders. Why can’t I place orders?
Based on updated information you have recently provided, there may have been a change in your eligibility to use the Pfizer Direct program. I tried to create an account with the Pfizer Direct program, but I received a notification that I was ineligible to create an account. Why can't I create an account?
Based on information you provided to setup an account, the verification process indicated that you are not eligible for the Pfizer Direct program. Please review the eligibility requirements in the Terms of Use for full details. If you have any questions, please call 1-877-655-1400 to speak with a member of the Medvantx Customer Care Team.
Why do I need to provide the name(s) and location(s) of my doctor(s)?
Medvantx requests that you provide the name(s) and location(s) of the doctor(s) who prescribe the medication(s) you’re ordering so that Medvantx may verify that they have the most accurate prescription information for you.
Why do I need to provide additional medical information when placing my order through Pfizer Direct by Medvantx?
Additional medical information is requested for the assessment of potential allergic reactions or drug interactions with the medications you order via Pfizer Direct and any other prescriptions that you report you are currently taking.
What shipping options are available for my prescription?
Pfizer Direct by Medvantx provides two different shipping methods:

How soon will my prescription ship?
Medvantx verifies every valid, existing prescription before it may be filled. The typical verification process takes 1 – 3 days. Final delivery will depend on verification timing and shipping method:
How can I track my shipment?
Once your order is processed, you will receive a shipment confirmation email from Medvantx that will contain the UPS tracking number for your order.
Is my signature required to accept delivery of my Pfizer Direct by Medvantx order?
No. Your signature is not required for the delivery of your Pfizer Direct by Medvantx order.
You may change this option prior to checkout.
What happens if my medication is lost or damaged during shipment?
If a medication is damaged or lost in the shipping process, please report the incident immediately to the Medvantx Customer Care Team at 1-877-655-1400. Most of the time, a medication reported as lost will eventually arrive to the correct address. In the rare instance that it does not, please contact the Medvantx Customer Care Team to discuss your options.
How much will I pay for my prescription?
Through Pfizer Direct by Medvantx, patients with an eligible and valid prescription may order certain brand-name Pfizer medications at a discount off of the list price with free standard shipping.

Will my insurance cover all or part of the cost of my order through Pfizer Direct by Medvantx?
No. Pfizer Direct by Medvantx does not involve your insurance, nor can a claim be submitted to your insurance. However, all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards, are accepted as payment.
Please note: Pfizer Direct by Medvantx operates outside of any third-party insurance. Neither the patient, nor the pharmacy, nor anyone else acting on the patient’s behalf, may submit any claim for reimbursement for product dispensed pursuant to this program to any third-party payor, including Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE or any other federal or state healthcare program. Out-of-pocket expenses incurred when using this program cannot be applied toward any government insurance benefit out-of-pocket spending calculations, such as Medicare Part D True Out-of-Pocket Costs (TrOOP).

Can I use my HSA or FSA card, debit card, or credit card to pay for my prescription?
Yes. Medvantx accepts HSA and FSA cards in addition to all major credit and debit cards, including American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
